Below are some FAQs related to our new platform
 

  1. What is the new online experience for the FCC?

    The new FCC is a relaunch of the current FCC Online product that has been designed to improve the user interface along with including the FCC Forum. The FCC Forum will be integrated with the FCC so that you have easy access to both types of content.

  2. What features and benefits can I expect from the new platform?

    Benefits of the new FCC online experience include:

    • Integrated online experience with FCC and FCC Forum content both available within the same platform.
    • Text and colors to easily differentiate between FCC and FCC Forum documents.
    • Visual history of an FCC document at the document view.
    • Similar look and feel to the USP-NF Online.
    • Simplified navigation of all content with annotations to explain the content of different sections, thereby simplifying access for new or infrequent users.
    • Comprehensive search tool that operates like search tools on many popular websites, helping you to find exactly what you need.


    Some features that will be available in new FCC online experience include:

    • Ability to save personalized bookmarks and easily return to any page through the "Viewing Activity" function, so you can efficiently go back to previous pages.
    • Search tool that allows for searching across categories within monographs.
    • A “create alert” icon to receive notifications of upcoming changes to specific documents, so you always know when key documents and tests are updated.
    • Some additional new features include a "Document Tool" menu allows you to quickly view a specific test or procedure within a document by clicking on a linked table of contents along with a "Support" tab with helpful links.
       
  3. What is the new online experience for the FCC?

    The new FCC is a relaunch of the current FCC Online product that has been designed to improve the user interface along with including the FCC Forum. The FCC Forum will be integrated with the FCC so that you have easy access to both types of content.

  4. Will I still have access to the current/old version of the FCC Online or FCC Forum once the new FCC Online platform launches?

    No, you will not have access to the platform that contains the current/old versions of the FCC Online or the old FCC Forum; however, there will be an automatic redirect to the new the URL for the new FCC Online platform that now integrates both the FCC and the FCC Forum. All previous and current FCC monographs and FCC Forum documents will be located on the new platform.

  5. Will my subscription key change for my current FCC Online subscription? Will I have to purchase a new subscription to the new platform?

    No, there will be no change to your subscription keys for your current FCC Online subscriptions. Your current subscription will remain active until it was originally due to expire.

  6. Will I need to change my Access Point account?

    No, there will be no changes to your Access Point account. Your current Access Point account credentials will provide you access to the new FCC Online platform.

  7. Will I have access to usage reports for the current/old FCC Online platform?

    No, you will not have access to your usage reports for the current/old version of the FCC Online once the new FCC Online platform has been launched.

  8. How do I obtain usage reports for the current/old version of the FCC Online platform?

    If you have access to the Admin Tool in the current/older version of the FCC Online, you can obtain usage reports before May 2021. Otherwise, please contact support@usp.org before May 2021 to receive a usage report.
